In 2015 guitarist Rene Gattermair formed his own band called DEMONICERA. After founding their first instrumental group, Sam Fernandez joined as a singer in 2016. Years of struggles passed as the project faced many changes in members. In 2017 Dave Ramella, rhythm guitarist of the band, enters the project and begin to compose new songs, the first demo songs for their debut EP are born. When they had the opportunity to write more songs with more consistent members, the band decided to perform in a band competition for the first time in 2019, followed by an opening act concert for Blood for Betrayal (GER) and No Zodiac. (USA ). Just as the pandemic entered our lives, the band chose to record their EP with Mike Stöckl, who was also contributing to the bass tracks of each song and managing the production and mixing aspect of the band. In fact, he also created the Butchered Alive lyric video.
As if from nowhere, Moritz Pik appeared, a talented young drummer who decided to help the band with their problems with the drummer. So he has taken over the drum section and is doing a great job. For this reason, the band went ahead and decided to re-record their EP called Blasphemous Thoughts in its final version, out on August 13, 2021.
Also, the band is trying to get back on stage and experiment with new ideas.
The band comments on their new release with the following statement: "After a long time we finally feel ready to present our first EP Blasphemous Thoughts on August 13th.
This EP was recorded in the summer of 2020 during the Corona pandemic. It has the iconic Boss HM2 sound known from the Swedish Death Metal scene. It was produced by our band member Mike Stöckl and mastered by our good friend "Jack Reigns" from Black Lagoon Studios. We hope you enjoy our new songs. "
