Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA —TINY TREE’s second album “XI” is already receiving praise for the rock duo’s ability to yet again take a listener on a journey from start to finish. The album flows into the ears with spacey soundscapes and appealing aggression. The album “XI” also features a first for the band, a guest artist, the iconic JD Pinkus, bassist well known from time with the Butthole Surfers, Melvins, and Honky, just to name a few. The album was self produced by the band with mixes completed from TINY TREE vocalist Addison Eilers.
TINY TREE’s ability to sound cohesive yet never really settle down into one genre shines yet again on “XI”. Listeners may hear subtle hints of some of the band's influences ranging from the masterful Peter Gaberial to post-rock giants Russian Circles.
The first single, “IDLE EYES” from the album “XI” arrives worldwide to streaming services July 2, 2021.
TINY TREE will begin touring fall 2021 in support of this release and their debut album “Embolism” which was released April 2020 durning the pandemic.
